WILLEMSTAD – In a move to modernize and improve its services, the Department of Traffic and Transportation (UOVV) will introduce a new digital platform for registering new vehicles starting July 14, 2025. The platform also enables users to book appointments online for vehicle re-inspections (herkeuring). 

The online services are accessible 24/7 through the following portal: https://sita.gobiernu.cw/prod  

With this new system, residents can now complete their vehicle-related processes more easily, quickly, and efficiently from the comfort of their homes. 

According to the UOVV, these digital upgrades are part of the broader government strategy to modernize public services and advance the digital transformation of Curaçao’s public sector. The initiative aims to reduce wait times and paperwork while offering more convenience to the community. 

The department encourages citizens to take full advantage of the new platform and contribute to a more streamlined and modern Curaçao.
