WILLEMSTAD - Curaçao is preparing for a week filled with sports and movement. The Curaçao International Sports Week 2025 will take place from November 15 to 23, 2025. Organized by the Fundashon Desaroyo Deportivo Kòrsou (FDDK), this year’s theme is INCLUSION – a powerful message celebrating diversity, accessibility, and the transformative power of sports and movement for all individuals.
The goal of Curaçao International Sports Week 2025 is to foster a culture where sports and physical activity are accessible to everyone, regardless of age, gender, ability, or background. The event emphasizes the importance of staying active as part of a healthy and balanced life and promotes a spirit of unity and inclusion at all levels of the community. Throughout the week, Curaçao will become a vibrant platform for sports and physical activities, conferences, and sporting competitions.
A key aspect of the week is to inspire and empower our community by highlighting the importance of sports and movement. This week aims to create unity through sports, raise awareness, provide opportunities for local talent to grow, and promote sports and physical activity as a natural part of everyday life.
To reinforce the message of inclusion, FDDK has launched the campaign “Join the Movement”, a national call to action inviting everyone in Curaçao to engage in sports and movement. The campaign will visit schools, organizations, and senior homes to motivate all generations. The intention is for “Join the Movement” to demonstrate that sports are truly for everyone, without limitations.
Curaçao International Sports Week 2025 also aims to strengthen collaboration and create lasting partnerships that will contribute to the sustainable development of Curaçao’s sports sector. By bringing together public and private partners, the event will stimulate innovation and investment that will benefit the sports community and all residents of the island.
The week will feature a broad and inclusive program, ranging from grassroots sports to elite-level competitions, including adaptive sports, youth programs, and community physical activities. Every event reflects Curaçao’s vision of providing equal opportunities for all and celebrating sports as something that unites us.
One of the highlights of the week will be the Sport Summit, Convention & Expo, which will serve as a hub for exchange, innovation, and networking. This gathering will bring together organizations and investors to share experiences, showcase new technologies, and discuss opportunities for development and collaboration.
Curaçao International Sports Week 2025, invites companies, potential sponsors, and community leaders to join the movement and contribute to building a stronger, more active, and inclusive Curaçao. Together, through sports and physical activity, we can continue to promote health, strengthen our nation, and create lasting change for everyone.
The Fundashon Desaroyo Deportivo Kòrsou (FDDK), remains committed to promoting and developing sports and physical activity on the island. With events like the Curaçao International Sports Week and the “Join the Movement” campaign, FDDK reaffirms its mission to empower people, promote inclusion, and create a vibrant and sustainable sports culture that benefits all generations.
