WILLEMSTAD – Curaçao International Clinic (CIC) will significantly expand its orthopedic services starting May 1, 2025, the clinic announced today. Orthopedic surgeons Dr. Janssen and Dr. Stokman will begin offering consultations five days a week at the clinic’s outpatient facility located at Landhuis Pos Cabai.
This move comes in response to the growing demand for orthopedic care on the island and the ongoing issue of long waiting lists.
Over the past year, CIC has focused particularly on treating patients with gonarthrosis — a common form of knee osteoarthritis that affects many residents of Curaçao. The clinic reports that hundreds of patients have already been successfully treated for the condition.
In addition to expanding consultation hours, CIC will also increase its surgical capacity to accommodate more patients in need of orthopedic procedures. The clinic emphasizes that these efforts aim to reduce wait times and improve access to specialized care on the island.
