WILLEMSTAD – The Curaçao Health Authority (CZa) is set to be officially established this quarter, as outlined in the implementation agenda of the Country Package Curaçao.
The CZa will act as an economic regulator, working closely with organizations such as the Social Insurance Bank (SVB) and healthcare institutions to enhance efficiency and ensure quality control in the healthcare sector.
Although the establishment of the CZa has been delayed due to legislative processes, it is anticipated that the necessary national ordinance will be approved shortly. This development marks a significant step toward improving healthcare oversight and management in Curaçao.
