WILLEMSTAD – A delegation from Curaçao has participated in meetings of the Latin American and Caribbean Parliament (Parlatino) in Panama, where lawmakers and experts discussed the future of sustainable energy, electric mobility, and technological innovation across the region.
During the sessions, participants focused on the rapid growth of electric transportation and the legislative frameworks needed to support its expansion. Discussions also examined the increasing role of renewable energy sources in reducing dependence on fossil fuels and advancing sustainable development goals.
The Curaçao delegation highlighted the importance of preparing future generations for the technological changes that accompany the transition to cleaner energy and transportation systems.
