ORANJESTAD – The Curaçao national football team secured a dominant 5-1 victory over Haiti on Tuesday evening in their final World Cup qualifying match. 

The game was held in Aruba due to ongoing safety concerns in Haiti, which made it impossible to host the match there. With this win, Curaçao retains its lead at the top of Group C. 

The convincing victory strengthens Curaçao’s position to be seeded among the top teams in the next stage of the qualifiers. This could help the team avoid stronger opponents in future rounds, significantly boosting their chances of reaching the FIFA World Cup.
