Curaçao Color Walk 2025 Raises 80,000 Guilders for Local Causes

WILLEMSTAD – The Curaçao Color Walk 2025, held on April 6 in the Parasasa neighborhood, has raised 80,000 guilders for local charitable initiatives. The funds were officially handed over by the EY Cares Foundation and EY Dutch Caribbean to two Curaçao-based organizations: De SGR Groep and the EYoung Talent Fund.

More than 8,000 participants joined the vibrant walk, which this year emphasized inclusion and community connection under the theme #ColorYourLife by Coloring Others. The fundraising total was made possible through the support of sponsors, volunteers, and event participants.

De SGR Groep received 50,000 guilders to continue its work supporting vulnerable groups and promoting inclusion across the island. The EYoung Talent Fund was awarded 30,000 guilders to foster young talent in cultural, artistic, and social development. This fund is managed by the Cultural Fund Caribbean Region (Cultuurfonds Caribisch Gebied).

The annual Color Walk has become a staple community event, combining wellness, unity, and philanthropy to support meaningful local impact.
