Curaçao climate change platform organizes third session to promote collective action

WILLEMSTAD - The Curaçao Climate Change Platform is honored to invite the people of Curaçao to the Third Session of the Curaçao Climate Change Platform, scheduled to take place on Friday, November 29, 2024, from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM at the Central Bank of Curaçao and Sint Maarten. 

This significant event will bring together experts, policymakers, business leaders, NGOs, and concerned citizens committed to addressing the urgent challenges posed by climate change. Through collaboration and dialogue, the session aims to strengthen Curaçao's resilience, promote sustainable development, foster innovative solutions, and drive decisive action. 

Mr. Albert Martis, President of the Curaçao Climate Change Platform, underscored the importance of the event: 
"The effects of climate change cannot be ignored, and we must act now to ensure a sustainable future. This platform provides us with a unique opportunity to unify efforts, exchange experiences, and take the necessary steps to protect our island." 

Participants will engage in discussions, workshops, and presentations focusing on climate resilience, renewable energy, and environmental conservation. This session represents a crucial step in Curaçao’s commitment to mitigating the impacts of climate change and creating a sustainable future.
