Curaçao Chamber of Commerce continues with interactive sessions to empower entrepreneurs

WILLEMSTAD - Curaçao Chamber of Commerce & Industry continued with its interactive information sessions for registered business sectors. After the session in November, where Ms. Marjolein Jardinier shared valuable information about the upcoming Mutual Evaluation (MEVAL), the sessions continued recently with Cyber Security” as main topic.  

Entrepreneurs directly and indirectly connected with the technological sector, and also other entrepreneurs interested in the topic of technology participated in the session on last march 21st, where the speakers, Ms. Lysandra Capella and Mr. Douglas Bencomo presented the importance of cyber security and data protection. 

This sessions, as well as previous sessions, were well attended by the business public and took place in a quite interactive and entertaining way. The attendees got several examples of how vulnerable digital information can be. On the other hand, they also received tips on how best to protect digital data. During this session, there were also a variety of questions about technology, challenges and opportunities both local and international market, were answered by the speakers in a very dynamic way. 

The Chamber of Commerce will be organizing more interactive sessions like these to explore and discuss the opinions of entrepreneurs who are interested in paying attention to the economy of today and the future.
