WILLEMSTAD - A delegation from the Curaçao Boxing Association (CuraBox) has traveled to the Netherlands to participate in the prestigious 2024 Dutch Boxing Championships organized by the Dutch Boxing Federation (Nederlandse Boksbond, NBB). The team, composed of boxers Nahdir Haseth, Jady Gogulski, and Fabian Williams, is accompanied by national coach Coregelino Djaoen and CuraBox chairman Edwin Baas.

The championship bouts are scheduled to take place across various cities in the Netherlands. Jady Gogulski, representing Pro-Fit in the B-71 category, will kick off the competition with the 1/8 finals in Breda on November 16. Fabian Williams, competing in the A-67 category for Supreme, will fight in the quarterfinals the same day, while Nahdir Haseth from Supreme will compete directly in the Youth-54 kg final.
On November 17, Jady Gogulski will continue in the quarterfinals in Apeldoorn. The competition will then move to The Hague, where both Jady and Fabian are set to fight in the semifinals on November 23. Should they advance, they will compete in the finals on November 24.
Several other Curaçaoan boxers based in the Netherlands are also set to participate in the championships, including Zion Martina (A-75), who recently completed a training camp at Baas Sports Curaçao.
CuraBox has extended an invitation to the Curaçao community in the Netherlands to come out and show their support. "We encourage our supporters to cheer loudly for our fighters as they represent Curaçao on the Dutch stage," said Edwin Baas, emphasizing the importance of the community's backing during this significant event.
