MELBOURNE – The Curaçao national team has begun its preparations in Melbourne ahead of its upcoming match against Australia in the FIFA Series.
Under the guidance of head coach Fred Rutten, the squad completed its first training session at the Heidelberg FC complex, located north of the city. The session was described as intensive but carefully managed, with a clear focus on avoiding injuries in the lead-up to the match.
Following the training, the team returned to its hotel for recovery and media duties. In the days leading up to the game, Curaçao will hold a press session and a final training at AAMI Park, the venue where the match will be played.
The fixture against Australia is scheduled for Tuesday morning at 05:10 Curaçao time.
With the first session completed, Curaçao has now entered the final phase of its preparation as it looks to improve following its recent defeat against China and deliver a stronger performance against the host nation.
