WILLEMSTAD - CURA DOET introduces "Youth Ambassadors" campaign to inspire youth volunteers!
On March 15 and 16, 2024, the entire island will once again be captivated by CURA DOET. Every year, social and community organizations, including community centers, schools, sports clubs, after-school programs, etc., submit projects and receive assistance from hundreds of volunteers! For the eleventh edition, Curaçao Cares, the driving force behind CURA DOET, aims to raise awareness among youth about volunteering through their latest initiative: CURA DOET Youth Ambassadors.
This year, CURA DOET focuses on engaging the youth and emphasizing the importance of volunteering from a young age. In collaboration with Happy Villa Enrichment Center, the "CURA DOET Youth Ambassadors" campaign is launched to increase awareness of volunteering among young people.
The campaign is led by enthusiastic youth from Happy Villa Enrichment Center who are actively involved in volunteering. Through short videos on CURA DOET's social media channels, the Youth Ambassadors will share their personal experiences. The goal is to make others aware of the value of volunteering and, more importantly, the joy it brings.
The Youth Ambassadors invite their peers to join this movement and make a difference. The campaign kicks off on January 20, 2024, and can be followed on CURA DOET's social media channels.
