Local | By Correspondent March 4, 2024

WILLEMSTAD - Cpost International and Bob Eco have joined forces to explore collaboration opportunities. The goal is to enhance the flexibility of delivery services in Curaçao and reduce the ecological footprint.

During a recent meeting between Jervhes Josephia, CEO of Cpost, and Peter Somers, Group CEO of Bob Eco, a shared vision emerged focused on revolutionizing last-mile postal services. They discussed how innovative technologies could be deployed to improve the efficiency, sustainability, and customer experience of Cpost.

Cpost is committed to reviewing and renewing its delivery model to better align with the changing needs of its customers, with a strong emphasis on environmental friendliness and the application of innovative solutions. This aligns with government objectives to reduce costs and promote sustainable development.

Building on the success of Bob Eco's launch of electric motorcycles for food delivery in Curaçao, this collaboration offers a unique opportunity to deploy Bob Eco's advanced electric vehicles for Cpost's postal services. These vehicles offer advantages such as a greater range and faster charging times, essential for efficient last-mile deliveries.

The partnership aims to significantly change the landscape of delivery services by promoting efficiency and sustainability. Together, Cpost and Bob Eco strive to transform not only mail delivery but also other delivery sectors, resulting in a more environmentally friendly and economically sustainable ecosystem in the region.
