WILLEMSTAD - The number of corona infections in Curaçao fell again last week. In addition, there is currently only one patient with the virus in the Curaçao Medical Center (CMC).

On April 23, four corona patients were in the hospital. The patient who is currently admitted to the CMC will stay in the regular corona ward. One person died last week in a care home from the effects of the virus. Since the start of the pandemic, there have been 274 corona deaths.

A total of 2,413 tests were administered. 276 people tested positive. One infection turned out to be incorrect, this has been adjusted in the figures. 362 people were allowed out of isolation, bringing the total number of infections to 355. On April 23, the number of active cases stood at 442.
