WILLEMSTAD - Minister of Traffic, Transport and Spatial Planning Charles Cooper has received an action plan for integrated cybersecurity. The purpose of the plan is to better prepare Curaçao at the national level.  

A working group has worked out the plan in collaboration with the ministry. In 2008, the Law Enforcement Council carried out a study into cyber security, tourism and border control, which showed that these subjects needed comprehensive attention. A special task force was set up in June, this group has now developed the action plan.  

A schedule has been drawn up in the plan in which the necessary adjustments are described. The government will study the document and then make decisions.
