WILLEMSTAD - The Supervision and Enforcement Project Team (PTH) of VVRP will inspect permits, stability, and height of all structures, stands, trailers, and scaffolding along the Carnival route. The goal of these inspections is to ensure the safety of everyone enjoying the Carnival parades. Permit for public space: Customers must have their permits available when the PTH arrives for inspection.
The PTH will also check if the construction on the premises matches the details in the permit. Stability of the construction: The PTH will check if the construction stands stable on its own without swaying or shaking, whether complete or partial, when climbed upon. The PTH will also pay attention to sharp protruding objects and ensure that the roof is securely attached. Height of the construction: There is a maximum height of 4 meters for each structure during the Carnival permit season. The PTH will also verify this. If any irregularities are found, the PTH will notify the permit owner promptly to rectify them as soon as possible. Different inspections will be conducted before, during, and after the various parades.
