WILLEMSTAD - It is not yet clear who will perform the inspections on mosquito breeding grounds. This is according to Member of Parliament for PAR and entomologist Gisette Seferina.
The Ministry of Public Health recently announced a major campaign to make the population aware of the dangers of mosquitoes and diseases that they can transmit.
As in previous years, the Department of Public Health will also have to visit houses to check for breeding grounds, such as stagnant water, for mosquitoes.
According to Seferina, the contracts of these so-called vector inspectors will expire this week. She asked the minister of Public Health Suzanne Camelia-Romer for clarification.
