Construction Company Aliansa Civil & Road Works Denies Involvement in Live Extension Project Irregularities

WILLEMSTAD Construction firm Aliansa Civil & Road Works (A.C.R.W.) has issued a statement distancing itself from any suggestions of involvement in potential irregularities related to the Live Extension project. This project is carried out under the responsibility of the Ministry of Traffic, Transport, and Spatial Planning (VVRP).

The company’s response follows circulating reports linked to recent arrests in the ongoing corruption investigation involving the Public Works Execution Organization (UOOW). Several suspects were detained earlier this month as part of this inquiry.

Aliansa Civil & Road Works stresses that the project was executed in full compliance with all applicable rules and laws. The company also states it is willing to demonstrate this if requested. “We acknowledge that an investigation is underway and maintain an appropriate distance from the process, out of respect for the course of justice,” the company’s management said.

The firm emphasizes that it is not involved in any wrongdoing and expresses confidence in the authorities’ ongoing investigation.
