Coastguard intercepts boat from casino robbers

WILLEMSTAD, KRALENDIJK - The Coast Guard of Curaçao intercepted a boat on Thursday afternoon that had just left Bonaire. The island's police had made the request.

During the audit, an amount of around $ 20,000 was found. Justice thinks that money comes from the robbery of the Divi Flamingo casino last Tuesday. The loot there was between $ 80 and $ 90,000.

The two men on board were arrested and the boat and money confiscated. On the discovery of the money, the police conducted a house search later that afternoon in a house in the Antriol district.
