ORANJESTAD - The Maritime Operation Center of the Coast Guard arrested eleven undocumented people in Aruban waters in the night from Tuesday to Wednesday. The Coast Guard Caribbean reports this.
The Coast Guard signaled a suspicious vessel and dispatched the Metal Shark patrol boat. This was followed by a chase at sea, where a warning shot was fired to force the boat to stop. Eleven undocumented people were found on board. The eleven men with Venezuelan nationality were taken to a jetty near Savaneta.
The men have been transferred to the police and the Warda NOS Costa.
