WILLEMSTAD – Walter Hansen, Director of the Caribbean Coast Guard, has underscored the importance of integrity within the organization following the arrest of Coast Guard personnel on suspicion of drug trafficking.
“I want to emphasize that integrity is our highest priority,” Hansen stated. “Acting with integrity forms the foundation of the Coast Guard’s role as a law enforcement agency. This principle is also strictly adhered to internally.”
Hansen highlighted that integrity is not only a core value but also a fundamental pillar of the organization’s quality standards. “The Public Prosecutor's Office can count on our full cooperation throughout the investigation,” he added.
