WILLEMSTAD – The coalition partners MFK and PNP can continue hand in hand again. The government parties have made new agreements and have come out of the impasse. Work is now underway on a 'Protocol of cooperation' that will be signed no later than next week.
The coalition crisis was prompted by the actions of PNP MPs Sheldy Osepa and Gwendell Mercelina. The two supported an opposition motion. This incurred the wrath of the MFK MPs. The protocol should improve communication between the parties, but also between the ministers and Members of Parliament.
