WILLEMSTAD - Effective January 6th, 2023, patients will no longer need a printed prescription to pick up their medication at a local pharmacy, following their consult with a specialist at Curaçao Medical Center (CMC) or telephone request for prescription refill.
A digital connection between CMC, General Practitioners and all Pharmacies will facilitate this process. This is the case for all medication except for bandages and other medical aids, which will be digitalized in the next phase.
CMC is pleased to open the new year with this news and a step into a very good direction.
