WILLEMSTAD – Gilbert Martina will be physically present at Curaçao Medical Center (CMC) until Monday, after which he will work remotely until his official departure on June 30. Johan de Graaf will then assume the role as the hospital's new General Director, according to an internal hospital communiqué.
Martina personally addressed the staff via a video message, thanking his colleagues for their collaboration over the years and wishing his successor success.
In the coming months, Martina will continue to support the management team remotely, ensuring his expertise remains available during the transition period.
"De Graaf brings extensive experience in hospital management and will soon begin preparations for his new role," CMC stated. The hospital expects his leadership to continue its ongoing course of innovation and improvement.
