WILLEMSTAD – On Sunday, July 13, 2025, a special classical music concert was held at the Government Palace of Curaçao at the invitation of the Governor of Curaçao. The event was a reprise performance of the concert “Curaçao Classique,” which had originally been performed the previous Friday at Fortkerk, an initiative by Mr. Michiel René van ’t Landt. 

The concert featured performances by Mr. Michiel René van ’t Landt (Tenor), Ms. Kristen Mare (Soprano), Ms. Nadessha Lourens (Soprano), Mr. Djuvaldric Groenenberg (Pianist), Ms. Maelynn Tjong Ayong (Pianist), Mr. Gino Cova (Pianist), Ms. Ilja Huang (Pianist), and Ms. Wilma Thalen (Violinist). 

Her Excellency Michele Russel-Capriles, Acting Governor of Curaçao, attended the concert as host, joining invited guests in an evening that celebrated the island’s rich cultural and musical talent.
