CINEX and SAMBIL sign Strategic Partnership to Drive Investment and Economic Growth in Curaçao

WILLEMSTAD - The Curaçao Investment & Export Promotion Agency (CINEX) and SAMBIL Mall have entered into a strategic collaboration aimed at boosting investment opportunities, enhancing economic development, and promoting Curaçao as a thriving destination for investors. 

The agreement, signed by Mr. Miles Mercera, CEO of CINEX, and Mr. Luis Moreno, GM of SAMBIL, marks a significant milestone in the island’s efforts to attract foreign direct investment (FDI) and support local enterprise expansion. This partnership leverages SAMBIL’s dynamic retail environment and international reach with CINEX’s expertise in investment facilitation and promotion. 

Key Elements of the Partnership Include: 

Green Carpet Treatment for Investors: CINEX will offer priority support and personalized guidance to potential investors engaging through SAMBIL. 

Streamlined Permit and Residency Processes: SAMBIL tenants will benefit from facilitated access to permits and residency by investment services. 

Use of SAMBIL as a Promotion Hub: SAMBIL Mall will provide event spaces and digital platforms at preferential rates to host investment-related events and promotional activities. 

Support for Expansion Projects: CINEX will work to attract investors to support SAMBIL’s expansion plans, including the development of an adjacent hotel. 

Market Exploration for Curaçao Products: Both parties will explore foreign markets to promote Curaçao’s products and services via SAMBIL’s global networks.
