WILLEMSTAD - On November 9, 2023, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Curaçao signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with FEDECAMARAS, a sister organization with national, regional, and urban members in Venezuela.
The MoU focuses on mutual cooperation and information exchange across various fronts, with reciprocity being the central theme. Venezuelan businesses can expect facilitation and support from the Chamber in Curaçao, and in turn, FEDECAMARAS is expected to provide similar assistance to Curaçaoan entrepreneurs.
Various business opportunities will be made available to entrepreneurs in Curaçao, especially those who have expressed specific interest in the Venezuelan market and companies listed in the digital business directory (see curacaobusinesspoint.com). Events organized by the Chamber and FEDECAMARAS that add value for entrepreneurs will be shared via social media to disseminate business opportunities in both countries.
The MoU was signed by Willem (Billy) Jonckheer, President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Curaçao, and Adán Celis Michelena, President of FEDECAMARAS.
