WILLEMSTAD - The Board of Directors of the Curaçao Gaming Authority (CGA) paid a courtesy visit today to the Governor of Curaçao at the Governor’s Palace.
During the meeting, the members of the Board introduced themselves and provided a general overview of the CGA’s development, role, responsibilities and operations.
The Board also outlined, in broad terms, how the CGA has developed as an organization, its position as a supervisory authority and its ongoing efforts to strengthen the organization.
The meeting included a general exchange of views on developments and challenges within the gambling sector and on the importance of strong, transparent and reliable supervision.
The courtesy visit offered the Governor an opportunity to become acquainted with the Board of Directors and with the CGA as an organization. The CGA appreciates the open and constructive dialogue during the meeting.
