WILLEMSTAD - Centrum Piscadera has been declared the most affordable supermarket on Curaçao for October, according to the latest price survey published by the Fundashon pa Konsumidó. The consumer foundation conducted an extensive review of prices across 15 supermarkets on the island, analyzing a total of 137 products to determine where shoppers can find the best deals.
The survey, carried out between October 21 and 30, included a wide variety of essential goods. Items ranged from food products such as rice, beans, sugar, coffee, and tea, to personal care items like soap, toothpaste, and toilet paper. Household cleaning supplies, including detergent, disinfectant, and bleach, were also part of the comparison.
Following Centrum Piscadera in the ranking were Mangusa Hypermarket, Centrum Mahaai, and Bon Bini Supermarket, all recognized for their competitive pricing. To assist consumers in making informed choices, the Fundashon pa Konsumidó has compiled all the collected data into an easy-to-read table, offering a clear overview of the most affordable options for grocery shopping on the island.
This initiative aims to provide transparency and help residents save money by identifying the supermarkets with the best prices and most extensive product offerings.
