WILLEMSTAD - The president of the Central Bank of Curaçao and Sint Maarten, José Jardim, during a press conference yesterday repeated a statement that was already announced last week. The Interim President of the Central Bank declared there is no danger whatsoever of the devaluation of the Antillean guilder.
He regrets the discussion about this that arose after the Curaçao Business Association expressed its fear of this last month. According to Jardim, that fear is unjustified.
