WILLEMSTAD – On Thursday, May 8, 2025, Mr. Manfred van Veghel, Director of the Carmabi Foundation, Ms. Odette Doest, the newly appointed Chair of the Board, and Mr. Edwin Flameling, Secretary of the former board, paid a courtesy visit to the Governor of Curaçao, Her Excellency Lucille George-Wout. 

During the meeting, Ms. Doest presented the Governor with an overview of Carmabi’s new governance structure, and the delegation briefed her on the foundation’s future plans for the management of Curaçao’s nature parks.
