Call for registration for residents of Curaçao and Dutch citizens currently residing in Israel

WILLEMSTAD - Since October 2023, the situation in Israel and Palestine has been unstable. On April 13, Iran, along with several allies, carried out an air strike with rockets and drones on Israel. Israel largely repelled the attack, but it is not excluded that more attacks may occur. The Middle East region is unstable. The security situation in the Middle East is uncertain and can change rapidly.

Curaçao is monitoring the situation in Israel. The Kingdom has an embassy in Tel Aviv (https://www.nederlandwereldwijd.nl/contact/ambassades-consulaten-generaal/israel/ambassade-tel-aviv).

The travel advice (https://www.nederlandwereldwijd.nl/reisadvies/israel) is not to travel to Israel. Leave Israel if it is safe to do so.

A call has been made to Dutch citizens and residents of Curaçao currently staying in Israel to register via the information service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (https://informatieservice.nederlandwereldwijd.nl/). Our advice is also to report if you are currently in another country in the Middle East.

If you have knowledge of residents of Curaçao currently in Israel or another country in the Middle East, please ask them to register via the information service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (BZ) and via email to: info.dbb@gobiernu.cw of the Directorate of Foreign Relations (DBB), where they can provide their name(s), telephone numbers, and address details in Curaçao and in Israel (or the other countries in the Middle East).

This way, BZ and/or DBB will know who is in the country and can keep these individuals informed of developments and provide them with advice.

Are you traveling abroad? Don't forget to download the BZ Travel App (https://www.nederlandwereldwijd.nl/reisadvies/download-reisapp) before the start of your trip and follow the travel advice valid for your destination.
