WILLEMSTAD – The Government of Curaçao has officially presented its Governing Program for the period 2025–2029, outlining a wide-ranging policy agenda focused on economic growth, social cohesion, public-sector reform, and sustainable development. The program was introduced during a press conference by Cabinet-Pisas III and builds on the policy trajectory of the previous governing term.

According to the government, Curaçao is at a “crucial moment,” requiring structural decisions to address demographic change, persistent poverty, economic vulnerability, and pressure on healthcare and housing. The program emphasizes strong governance, financial stability, and investment in people as guiding principles.
The government states that progress under the previous 2021–2025 program varied significantly by ministry, with completion rates ranging from approximately 44 percent to nearly 79 percent, depending on the sector. Lessons from that period are expected to inform implementation during the new term.
