Busy week for Parliament

WILLEMSTAD - A public meeting of Parliament is planned for Tuesday on the situation of the Girobank. The Minister of Finance Kenneth Gijsbertha has been invited to debate with the MPs on the current situation of the bank and its future.

Also, the MPs want to gain more insight into the consequences of the closure last week for customers.

On Wednesday there is a continuation of a previous meeting on the report of the Court of Audit entitled "Ministry-wide investigation into deviations from public tenders in accordance with applicable policies and rules".

On Thursday there will be a public meeting on the report of the committee that has carried out preliminary investigations into conducting a parliamentary survey on Hospital Nobo Otrobanda (HNO).
