WILLEMSTAD - The Hidden Green Movement launched a grassroots campaign in 2022 with the goal of introducing everyone to our local farmers, enabling consumers to consciously choose local and sustainably produced agricultural products.

"Seeing is believing," is the conviction of Berber van Beek and Reina Keijzers, the founders of the Hidden Green Movement. "When you are aware of your choices, you can have a positive impact on our environment and our community. By making people aware of the source of their food and the opportunity everyone has to achieve a big effect with a small step, we want to replace exports with local production together."
Through press and online media, everyone can get to know a new farmer each month through an in-depth interview and photo report of a day in the fields. All this information is now gathered in an outdoor exhibition in the heart of Otrobanda!
During the Art Week of Kaya Kaya starting on August 28th, the permanent outdoor exhibition of the Hidden Green Movement will be unveiled on Ijzerstraat, near the bustling Bario Hotel and Kura Hulanda. The exhibition will be visible for the long term to tourists, school children, and local residents whom we aim to inspire and encourage to choose local products.
