WILLEMSTAD – Bryan Irausquin has been appointed as a member of the Raad van Advies Curaçao. He was sworn in last week by Lucille George-Wout Mauritsz de Kort during a ceremony held at the Governor’s Palace in Fort Amsterdam.
Irausquin currently serves as Tax Managing Partner at EY Caribbean and has an extensive career in fiscal economics and tax policy across the Caribbean region. In his professional work he has been involved in the development of tax policy and in fostering cooperation between public institutions and private organizations.

He succeeds Clarion Taylor, the former member of the Council of Advice who recently passed away.
The Council of Advice is one of Curaçao’s key advisory bodies and provides legal and governance advice to both the government and the Curaçao Parliament on draft legislation and administrative matters.
