LONDON, WILLEMSTAD - Jelizaveta and Gavin Jones' honeymoon in Curaçao had barely begun when the Sandals pool incident ended their dream vacation. The 29-year-old bride was injured last week when the glass wall of the infinity pool broke. She and her husband were swept out to sea.  

The bride suffered a head injury. She also injured her leg. The British media, including The Daily Mail, reported on this. The traumatic honeymoon cost the couple almost 24,000 guilders. The tourists praise the behavior of the Sandals staff after the incident, but call the attitude of the management abhorrent. Other tourists complained that management downplayed the event.
