WILLEMSTAD - On Tuesday 18th February the Britannic Club of Curaçao has donated the proceeds of the 18th Pub Quiz 2019 – 20.000 florins – to several well-deserving charities during their first Club meeting in 2020. The donations were made at The Wine Store at Mementos who sponsored this event together with Licores Maduro, for which we are very grateful!
The following representatives of charities were present: Carf, Dolphin Academy voor het project Bayena y Dolfein, Stichting Shimaruku, Kinderoorden Brakkeput, Hospice Arco Avent, Stichting Equine en Sea Turtle Conservation. Donations to other charities that were unable to attend will be handed out as soon as possible. Just like last year also representatives from some of our valued sponsors were present as well.
