WILLEMSTAD – On Thursday, May 8, 2025, Ms. Waleska Schumacher, Honorary Consul of Brazil for Curaçao, Sint Maarten, and the BES islands, accompanied a delegation from the Brazilian Navy on a courtesy visit to the Governor of Curaçao, Her Excellency Lucille George-Wout. 

The delegation included Captain Guilherme Barros Moreira, Lieutenant Commander Antonio Lage Achado, Lieutenant Commander Eduardo Diniz Leite de Aquino, and Lieutenant Luiz Felipe Perrut e Silva. The visit took place in the context of CARIBEX-2025, a naval training mission, during which the Brazilian Navy is present in Curaçao with two naval vessels. 

Also present at the meeting was Ms. Darryllin van der Veen, representing the Foreign Relations Directorate of Curaçao.
