WILLEMSTAD - On Monday, October 17, Curaçao will start vaccinating again against Covid-19 for people 12 years and older. It is a booster of the Pfizer vaccine.
The first group to be vaccinated are people aged 77 and older. They can visit the Health Department (GGD) on the Piscaderaweg from Monday to Thursday.
The vaccine is bivalent, which means that it offers protection against the Wuhan and Omikron variants.
Anyone who has already received a shot or has been infected with covid19 in the past three months will have to wait a little longer with the booster.
