LONDON – Bocobay, a luxury vacation rental and property management company operating across the Caribbean, has announced that its co-founders, brothers Nick and James Curtis, have been named to the Forbes 30 Under 30 Europe 2026 list in the Retail & E-commerce category.
The Forbes 30 Under 30 Europe list, now in its eleventh year, recognizes 300 of the continent’s most promising young entrepreneurs and innovators across ten sectors. This year’s cohort has collectively raised more than $900 million in funding, with 74 percent identified as founders or co-founders of their companies.
Nick and James Curtis founded Bocobay in 2020 with the goal of bringing a hotel-quality management model to the fragmented Caribbean villa rental market. Since then, the company has expanded across four destinations—Aruba, Curaçao, Jamaica, and the Dominican Republic—and now manages a portfolio of more than 300 luxury properties.
Bocobay’s model focuses on consolidating individual villa listings into unified, resort-style offerings on booking platforms, a strategy the company says has helped increase revenues for property owners.
“Being recognized by Forbes reflects the strength of our team and the trust property owners have placed in us,” said Nick Curtis, co-founder of Bocobay. “The Caribbean villa rental market has long lacked professional management, and we aim to change that.”
“We launched Bocobay to close the gap between what villa owners deserve and what the market provides,” added James Curtis. “This recognition gives us further momentum as we continue expanding across the region.”
The company recently announced new developments, including Palm Beach on Runaway Bay in Jamaica—its first purpose-built villa community in that market—and Sol de Arena in Las Terrenas, Dominican Republic. Additional projects are currently in development across the Caribbean.
Bocobay operates on a management model that charges property owners a fee tied to targeted annual rental yields, aligning the company’s performance with owner returns. Properties are marketed through major online travel agencies, as well as direct bookings and travel trade channels.
