Boca Boxing Stars Launches Golden Gloves Tournament with Official Press Conference in Curaçao

WILLEMSTAD – Boca Boxing Stars, in collaboration with CuraBox, officially kicked off the countdown to the much-anticipated Golden Gloves and Belts Amateur Boxing Tournament with a successful press conference held at “Steve and Friends” in Otrobanda, near the iconic Queen Emma Bridge. 

The event, which took place in an intimate and vibrant setting, marked the formal launch of what promises to be one of the most exciting amateur boxing tournaments in the Caribbean. The tournament is scheduled to take place on September 5 and 7, 2025, in Curaçao. 

During the press conference, the official tournament belts were unveiled to much applause, and several of the local boxers set to compete were introduced to the media and supporters in attendance. The atmosphere was one of energy, pride, and unity, as the boxing community came together to celebrate the upcoming competition.

The Golden Gloves and Belts Amateur Boxing Tournament will feature teams from across the region and beyond, including Aruba, Bonaire, Colombia, Venezuela, Suriname, the Netherlands, Brazil, and Curaçao. The event is expected to draw significant attention from boxing fans, sports organizations, and talent scouts alike. 

With its official launch now complete, the road to the Golden Gloves tournament has begun—uniting nations through sport and placing Curaçao firmly in the spotlight of the international amateur boxing scene.
