WILLEMSTAD - The Belgian who recently came in the news because he bought a villa in Curaçao without paying it, is dead. He turned out to be terminally ill and died yesterday.

Christiaan J. bought for more than 7 million guilders a beautiful villa from a Dutch couple on the island. But he did not pay the advance of 750,000 guilders, nor the rest. A lawsuit where he must appear in March will not take place anymore.
