Bar Association: Do not oblige anyone to appear

WILLEMSTAD - The board of the Bar Association calls on lawyers and parties not to attend the hearing on Monday 16 March, except for matters that cannot be delayed.

In that case, incidentally, only in consultation with the other party's lawyer, so that it is established that both parties will then be represented.

COURT

The Court proposed to email all rulings tomorrow. Provided it is known and has not already been collected. All cases will be halted for two weeks, unless both parties are present.

In the case of a new case, the lawyer (reporting that he is the defendant's lawyer) can do this by e-mail.

The basic principle is that no one is obliged to appear in court in person.

On Monday there will be another meeting to make arrangements for the coming week.
