WILLEMSTAD - During a control operation in the Dam Pretu area on Thursday, April 25, 2024, the Project Team for Supervision and Enforcement (PTH) of the Ministry of Traffic, Transportation, and Urban Planning (VVRP) conducted a morning inspection. It was found that there were instances of illegal occupation of government land and illegal constructions. PTH halted all illegal activities. Additionally, during the inspection, a marijuana plantation was discovered on the site. The Curaçao Police Force (KPC) was informed of the situation and promptly responded to the scene. PTH and KPC will continue further investigation. KPC is actively searching for the suspect(s) in this case.
