WILLEMSTAD - World champion Argentina has won the friendly game with Curaçao 7-0. The Argentines quickly took the game, which was played in Santiago del Estero, by leading 4-0 after 35 minutes.  

Despite the loss, it was a dream come true for many players of the Curaçao national team. For 90 minutes they were face to face with one of the best footballers of all time: Lionel Messi.  

Federashon Futbòl Kòrsou wants to play as many friendly matches as possible, with the hope that Curaçao can participate in the World Cup in 2026. The team played against Canada on Saturday. Curaçao lost that match 0-2.
