WILLEMSTAD - Households in various neighborhoods of Curaçao may be without water for a short period this week. Aqualectra is conducting maintenance work, according to the water and electricity company. 

Maintenance work is scheduled for Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. On Monday, water was already temporarily shut off in Cas Cora and surrounding areas. Aqualectra will start on Wednesday in Grote Berg around the Harmonie development plan. On Thursday, maintenance will be carried out in the neighborhoods of Buena Vista, Kanga, Dein, Mon Repos, Sun Valley, and Seru Fortuna. The maintenance continues on Friday in Bonam and Jongbloed. 

The maintenance work will take place from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm on Wednesday, from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm on Thursday, and from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm on Friday. During this period, it is possible that homes in the affected neighborhoods will be without water.
