WILLEMSTAD - According to sources close to the Council of Ministers, the government has approved another term for the current governor of Curaçao, H.E. Mrs. Lucille George-Wout.

Mrs. Lucille Andrea George-Wout (born 1950) is a Curaçaoan politician who has been Governor of Curaçao since 4 November 2013. She earlier served in the Island Council of Curaçao as a commissioner, was president of the Parliament of the Netherlands Antilles, and was Minister for Work and Social Affairs of the Netherlands Antilles.
