WILLEMSTAD – On October 3, 2025, the Leading with Integrity Foundation (LWI) will host its eighth annual Integrity Conference, bringing together experts and leaders from both the public and private sectors to explore effective approaches to integrity management. This year’s theme is: “From Science to Integrity – Applying a Proven Worldview to Policy Design.”
The conference aims to share practical tools and perspectives for designing integrity frameworks rooted in the Judeo-Christian worldview, which, according to organizers, has not only shaped modern science but also continues to influence daily practices and ethical standards. The event will also explore how this worldview can guide the creation of policies that yield lasting results.
Key discussions will include whether Curaçao’s current legal and judicial systems are adequately equipped to handle breaches of integrity and morality, and how justice systems can better address offenses rooted in intangible values. Organizers emphasize that strengthening these systems can help prevent integrity-related crimes.
Three distinguished speakers will lead the sessions: Dr. Yves (Payo) Schoop, legal scholar and compliance expert Russell Ursula, and Nelson Foendoe, president of LWI. Each will bring unique expertise and experience, guiding participants through dynamic sessions designed to encourage active engagement.
The foundation is calling on business leaders, government officials, and representatives of civil society organizations to take part in what it describes as a “highly relevant and impactful conference.”
The event will take place on Friday, October 3, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Sandals Royal Curaçao.
