WILLEMSTAD - A group of graduate students and professors from Indiana Wesleyan University Occupational Therapy Program paid a courtesy visit to Prime Minister Eugene Rhuggenaath, who is also currently the Minister of Education.
This is the 2nd year that the University visits Curaçao, in coordination with the De SGR-Groep. Besides study-related visits the students also get to soak in the various attractions and cultural aspects of the island.
The students hereby complete a cross-cultural 'global health course' and will soon embark on their clinical fieldwork. Through this unique learning opportunity, students research various countries, experience diverse cultures and languages, and learning about community groups, healthcare services, and educational systems.
The Prime Minister said on his social media: “Bon Bini friends, enjoy your stay and we look forward to seeing you back in Curaçao next year!”
